Jennifer Hendrick is the Founder of Impact Dispatch and a public safety professional with more than 30 years of experience in training, professional development, and operations across the public and private sectors. Her background spans Police, Fire, EMS, emergency communications, and Traffic Incident Management, giving her a broad perspective on the critical role communications professionals play in public safety and coordinated incident response.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has been passionate about strengthening the knowledge, confidence, and leadership capabilities of dispatchers and other public safety communications professionals. She founded Impact Dispatch with a simple belief: dispatchers deserve relevant, practical, high-quality professional development that recognizes the complexity and importance of the work they perform every day.
Jennifer's approach to training combines real-world operational experience with practical application. Her work in Traffic Incident Management has further strengthened her understanding of multi-agency coordination, incident communications, responder safety, transportation operations, and the importance of effective decision-making during rapidly evolving incidents.
Jennifer is also married to a seasoned paramedic, which provides plenty of opportunities for conversations about field operations and the connection between dispatch and responders. She values those perspectives and continually looks for ways to bridge the gap between communications centers and the professionals they support in the field.
